Passendale is a Belgian Amber Beer, it has an alcohol content of 6%.

Passendale is a Belgian beer that was launched in 2000 by Brouwerij Duvel Moortgat from Breendonk in collaboration with the Cheesefactory of Passchendaele from Passchendaele.

It is brewed with various malts after which the refermentation follows the bottle.

It was awarded in Belgium in the category New Products 2000 and in the United States the new beer was awarded the Beverage Packaging Global Design Award in 2000. It was selected there from more than 1,300 drinks from around the world.

However, it turned out not to be a commercial success: in 2005 the production stopped and the Moortgat brewery tried to transfer the beer to another brewery. This did not work.
