Bruce’s Beach House Oyster Gose Special Tapping Posted on July 6, 2017 When: 07/11| 4-6pm Where: Headwaters at the Heathman | Portland, OR
Bruce’s Beach House Ale is named after the historic pioneer village of Bruceport on Willapa Bay where oysters have been harvested for generations. After enjoying oysters there one afternoon, we decided we needed to brew a beer that would complement their unique flavor. We chose a Gose, a tradition German wheat beer known for its refreshing tartness and hint of salt. We partnered with Pacific Seafood and added their Bruce’s Beach House oysters to the hop back, along with salt distilled directly from waters of the Bay, and a touch of lemon zest.
Join us and Pacific Seafood to celebrate the joys of summer. We’re going to spend the late afternoon eating oysters and drinking beer! We partnered with Pacific Seafood on a very special and limited beer that was brewed with Bruce’s Beach House Oysters.
