And so, we bring you Three Holiday Beer Cocktail Recipes from Beau’s!
Beer and cocktails have always been at odds, it seems. The room is divided in two: the beer drinkers and the cocktail folks. Let’s bring ’em all together, shall we? ‘Tis the season, after all.
Here are three beer cocktail recipes to try out this year. Perfect ’em at home, then show your mixologist mastery at the party — impressing the beer and cocktail folks alike.
First up…
New Lang Syne Mimosa:
What You’ll Need:
– Beau’s New Lang Syne Belgian Tripel
– Orange juice or freshly squeezed oranges
– Optional: Maraschino cherries
Pour half a glass of New Lang Syne into a Champagne flute. Fill the other half with orange juice. If you’d like to add a bit of extra sweetness, add some maraschino cherries (with some of the yummy liquid it sits in)!
The Bottle Imp Coffee Cocktail
What You’ll Need:
– The Bottle Imp Russian Imperial Coffee Stout
– 1 oz. port
– 1/2 oz. coffee/espresso
– 1/2 oz. Frangelico liqueur
– Optional: whipped cream to top
Add the port, coffee, and Frangelico into your favourite cocktail glass. Top the rest of the glass off with The Bottle Imp. If you like, add some whipped cream to finish it off. Or if you want to make this recipe more chocolatey, replace the coffee with hot chocolate.
The Lug-Tread Cranberry Cocktail with Rum & Chambord
What You’ll Need:
– 2 oz. Lug-Tread Lagered Ale
– 1 oz. spiced rum
– 1/2 oz. Chambord
– 1 oz. cranberry juice
– Ground nutmeg & cinnamon to garnish
Add the rum, Chambord, cranberry juice, and Lug-Tread to a classic tumbler. Top with ground nutmeg & cinnamon as a nice garnish.
Now you’re good to go! Have a holly jolly one!
