The Duvel route, that is cycling along interesting sights and beautiful pieces of nature.
In collaboration with Tourism Province of Antwerp, the Duvel route was entirely based on the existing network of nodes in the municipalities of Puurs, Boom, Willebroek, Rumst and Mechelen. The tourist region Scheldeland through which you cycle, is a very wetland area with many photogenic and picturesque spots, including the beautiful ponds of Het Broek nature reserve. Ferries and bridges also bring you from shore to shore. You cycle, as it were, on and over the water! Along the route information boards provide more information about the region, supplemented with facts about the Duvel brewing process.
