The Darkest Day – 1 Day, 5 Barrel-Aged Imperial Stouts
On the Winter Solstice, December 21, we’ll celebrate the Darkest Day of the year with FIVE limited release barrel-aged imperial stouts – four of which have never been seen before. Since Neolithic times (a long AF time ago), the Darkest Day has been observed as the last celebration before deep winter begins. Neolithic partyers would throw a rager and break into the year’s finally fermented beer and wine.
Sounds like a good time to us, so we’re celebrating with a bone-warming ceremonial shindig of barrel-aged indulgence featuring:
Jefe’s Horchata Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 12.8% ABV
Santa’s Beer Breath Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout with Cocoa & Peppermint, 12.8% ABV
Chocolate Hazelnut Praline Ten FIDY Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 12.8% ABV
Salted Caramel Ten FIDY Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 12.8% ABV
Hot Buttered Rum Ten FIDY Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout, 13% ABV
These barrel-aged behemoths will be available on draft and in 19.2oz cans, so you can sip with us in the taproom or take Stovepipe cans to go. Join us for ritual beer drinking on December 21 at our Boulder, CO, or Longmont, CO, taproom. No limits.
