FRI JUL 24Introducing The Michael Jackson Foundation for Brewing and DistillingWe are dedicated to supporting our Brewmaster Garrett Oliver’s work, including the exciting launch of the Michael Jackson Foundation for Brewing and Distilling. His efforts are crucial for the future of our industry, and we look forward to making our support part of Brooklyn Brewery’s ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion both within our company, and on behalf of the industry.
Named for one of the foremost beer writers of our time, The Michael Jackson Foundation is a grant-making organization that funds scholarship awards to Black, Indigenous, and People of Color within the brewing and distilling trades. The program is open to candidates at the beginning of their careers, as well as those looking to continue their education. The MJF awards present an opportunity for members and patrons of the brewing and distilling industries to directly fund a more just, equitable, and dynamic future.
