Dave and Wyndee Forrest, a couple from the US, took inspiration from European breweries on their visit, and CraftHaus was born. CraftHaus initiated the concept of a taproom in Henderson’s Booze district.
On public demand, they opened the second taproom in the Downtown Arts District. The taproom in Henderson has large windows that let visitors enjoy the live brewing scenes taking place outside. Selling his house to finance the brewery business proved to be an excellent idea, and now his business, Bad Beat Brewing, has become a favorite local hangout. Set up as a clubhouse, the long wooden tables give the brewery a casual and laid-back vibe. The beer is made on-site, and the taprooms provide a selection of seasonal, limited flavors and year-round brews.
Known best for experimenting with Gose recipes, they have some interesting flavors in the taproom. Sunday Funday is made with pureed cranberry, pineapple, and orange, while the Morning Pay Off is a unique breakfast spout.

Not only did it make them famous at school parties, but their love for beer production only grew from there. There are plenty of good ales to choose from, loads of games, and a pet-friendly patio. Their experimental flavors have given them some well-earned fame.

The brewery is renovated from an old Bank of America building and has a vast industrial space. The garage-style doors roll up to display cheerful bistro string lights and an extended dog-friendly patio.
They keep changing the small-batch beers, but the brewery regulars Almost Famous porter and Bones Brigade IPA are constantly available. Chances are you’ll find something new and delicious to sample whenever you visit. Griff loves experimenting, and Flyin’ Hawaiian Pineapple and Freedom Peach are the results of those valuable experiments.
