Hugel

Hugel is the brewing trade name of Koen Hugelier. After studying pharmaceutical and biological techniques and medical laboratory technology Koen Hugelier worked at Ghent University nearly a decade on various scientific studies. In 2009 he was qualified to zytholoog and was thus addressing the brewing microbe.

History

Because Hugelier could use a lot of knowledge from his training, it was pretty easy to delve into the secrets of brewing. After some hobby brewing Koen Hugelier in 2010 ready for brewing one of its beers in a ‘big’ brewery.

That way Koen Hugelier arrived at The Golden Spur visit, where he now works as a freelance brewer and self brews its own beers. Besides brewing its Seven Sins Gula, Luxuria, and Invidia Superbia, Hugelier brewed in the past regularly numerous other beers. He is the designer of the house beer student pub The Chips in Kortrijk, where Chipke four years the tribe beer Hans and David Masselis.

Koen Hugelier is also three years of freelance brewer brewery The Casemates in Ieper. He brews have commissioned their Wipers Times 14 Times 16 Wipers and beer caves Santé.
