Bush de Charmes
Bush de Charmes is a Belgian Pale Ale beer, it has a second fermentation in the bottle, and an alcohol content of 10.5%.
Hugues Dubuisson is always on the lookout for extraordinary products. It was in this spirit that he came up with the idea of maturing Bush Blonde in oak barrels, which had previously been used to store white Burgundy wine, more specifically the famous Charmes Meursault.
So the brewery bought 13 of these 228 litre barrels in which to produce its Bush de Charmes.
Thanks to this exceptional procedure, Bush de Charmes offers an extraordinarily rich taste on the palette.
The taste
The traditional maturation process in recycled wine barrels allows the beer to develop an aromatic explosion of white and yellow fruit, with fl owery and citrusy touches, as well as wine-like impressions contributed by the Chardonnay grape.
This exceptional beer is an example of the brewer’s Art with a capital A.
Bush de Charmes has a delicate taste, rich aromas, a beautiful exclusive bottle, and a strictly limited distribution.
At the dining table Bush de Charmes makes the perfect companion for sea food and shell fish, especially dishes served with a white sauce. It matches beautifully with pâté de foie gras and a summery salad.
