Ladenburger Hefeweizen Dunkel
Ladenburger Hefeweizen Dunkel is a German beer, it has an alcohol content of 5.2%.
This beer shows off the real skill of the master brewer. It is not easy to find the right balance between the refined top-fermented aroma and dark malt character required for a good dark wheat beer. This beer shows it is possible. Robust on the tongue without smothering the top-fermented aromatic notes – an extremely popular beer.
Appearance, Aroma and Taste
Fine-pored head, a typical colour and an aroma that is clean and fresh with a trace of malt but also a fruity-banana character. On the tongue it is full-bodied, robust and malty and leaves a pleasant sour impression. The harmony between malt character and top-fermented yeast is very well captured. Its “rezenz” and fizziness make for good secondary fermentation in the bottle.
