Nelson Sauvin Hopped Beers

A new variety developed in Nelson, New Zealand in 1987 and commercially available since 2000.Named with more than a nod towards the Sauvignon blanc grape. Intensely fruity flavour and aroma with a strong suggestion of passionfruit. Effective for bittering, flavour and aroma. Good when used either solely or in combination with complementary fruity hops such as Cascade in American pale ales.
