Angerik
Angerik Brewery is a microbrewery in Dilbeek.
There are produced only top-fermented beers. For beer production, use is made of the force of gravity, just as was the case in old breweries. The installation is placed on top of each other. As a result, there is no need pumps to be used.
History
Microbrewery Angerik was founded in 1997 by Erik De Cuyper and Angelo Buyse, in Zellik. The name, Brewery Angerik, is a contraction of their two first names: Angelo & Erik.
After a few years moved the brewery to Dilbeek, and has grown since to become what it is today.
In 2010, production was reduced to a minimum, but there were a few more brews made annually.
Until the end of 2015 Sam De Cuyper the brewery again invoked new life.
A new start of the brewery, also asked for a new name for the beer.
Until now there was the beer ‘boerke’ brewed. This was renamed “Dilleke. The name of this beer is a reference to the village of Dilbeek, where the beer is brewed.
