Brasserie Sainte-Hélène
The Brasserie Sainte-Hélène is a Belgian artisan brewery located in Florenville in the commune of Florenville en Gaume, in the south of the province of Luxembourg.
History
1995
Eddy Pourtois brews his first beer as an autodidact. It gives birth to an amber that always holds a good place in the current range of our beers. The brewery is born in Orsinfaing, rue Sainte Helene n ° 21. It is this origin that will give its name to the brewery and will anchor its beers in the country and the Gaumese tradition.
1999
First serious installation, while remaining modest, it allows brews of 3 hectoliters. This year is also the beginning of the marketing of the first beer.
2003
The brasserie moves to Virton, in the heart of the Gaume, faithful to its origins. Eddy Pourtois will produce 160 hectoliters this year. The Sainte Hélène Blonde, Ambrée and Triple D’Jean still produced under other names are already part of the adventure.
2005
Still growing and after extensive development, the brewery settled more permanently in Ethe and acquired a brewing facility with a capacity of 14 hectoliters per brew.

The constantly growing production prompted Eddy Pourtois to join a new partner, Raphaël Vanoudenhoven. Together they create the SPRL Brasserie Sainte Hélène in order to perpetuate the company. This is the perfect opportunity to review the brand image of the brewery, the “Atelier Design” graphic design workshop reviews all the packaging making it more dynamic and in step with the ever-changing world of artisan beer. In the wake of new investments, mainly an automated bottling line that will allow the brewery to significantly increase its production capacity and allow more time for brewers to meet their customers. Two new beers are also created.
