De Hoevebrouwers
De Hoevebrouwers arose in 2006 after winning a brewing competition for amateurs, but our first brewing experience we did in 2001 in the kitchen on the stove to brew kettle (little) of twenty liters.
As Bio-engineer, specializing in food processes and both passionate about beer, the step was easy to develop our own recipes.
Long did it, whether in 2003 we switched to a “bigger” installation of eighty liters, which our beers were further refined and still new test brews it be brewed.
Of course our brewing capacity is too small to meet the demand, so we are forced to make our beers “elsewhere” brew. For now, we brew our beers from Brouwerij De Graal Brakel, because our dream remains: From our hobby into a profession and install a small brewery in our farmstead.
