Walrave

Walrave brewer is a former brewery in the Belgian municipality of Laarne to the Lepelstraat. The company was founded in 1862 by Auguste Walrave (1812-1888) and originally called Den Anker Brewery. The brewery is currently still owned by the same family and run by the fifth generation. The current buildings and the castle (1870), the founder and owner are situated on a former homestead. Which was previously owned by Registrar Guillaume Van der Moere, which it had bought in 1742.
