Remember Holmberg Bound? You guys loved last year’s collaboration we brewed with John Holmberg and 98 KUPD so much, we had to team up again. But this time, we made something a little different: A summer beer called All Dogs Go to Hefen.
As you may be able to tell from the name, the beer is going to be a German-style hefeweizen. But what might not be immediately clear is the beer’s pedigree: The recipe is based off a beer we made years back that was pretty popular in our pubs.
That’s right, folks: Four Peaks Hefeweizen is back.
We resurrected this crowd favorite with just one minor tweak: We infused it with citrusy Mandarina and Cascade hops (because John loves his hops) as well as lemon and orange peel from Greenfield Citrus Nursery in Mesa. Proceeds, as always, will benefit the Arizona Humane Society.
Join us at the 8th Street pub from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 21 to try the beer, meet John Holmberg and the other guys from Holmberg’s Morning Sickness, and grab some Four Peaks/KUPD goodies. Arizona’s homeless pets (and your taste buds) will thank you.
