Klaüs (Kölsch-Style Ale)
4.4% ABV // 25 IBU’s // 11.2 P
Crisp + Lemon zing + Refreshing
Kölsch as a style is unique in the fact that it is the only beer in the world to hold an appellation upheld by a court of law. As such, only brewers in Köln, Germany, can call this beer Kölsch. The rest of us should call it Kölsch style.
Ok, how does this beer taste?! Brilliant in both clarity and complexity. A finely hoppy, crisp, light ale that is highly drinkable. Probably the strongest hallmark of Kölsch is its lemon-like tang, which comes from proper yeast selection and fermentation. Klaüs is no exception. Highly reminiscent of a lemon-lime refresher. Perfect for this sunny weather!
