Due to the restrictive nature of Maryland laws and regulations regarding breweries, it is illegal for us to pour beer from guest breweries. We worked with the state liquor board for several weeks to create an exception for this event, but unfortunately were unable to make that exemption came to fruition.
It is simply impossible for us to host our awesome slate of guest breweries and serve their amazing firkins, which are the heart of Real Ale Fest and make it the truly special event that it is. Without the real ale, there can be no Real Ale Fest.
We apologize for any inconvenience the cancellation may cause, and thank you for supporting us and Real Ale Fest.
