(718) 601-0204The Bronx Ale House is a great place to start! This is a wonderful brewery that serves a variety of delicious beers alongside food and lunch items. It’s a great size which means it’s perfect if you and a few friends want to pop along for a few drinks.
We’d highly recommend their Bronx World Gone Hazy! As the name would suggest, this is a delicious hazy IPA that comes in at 7% – it’s sure to put some hairs on your chest while guaranteeing you a smooth drink.

(718) 564-9767Next up on our list is Grimm Artisanal Ales, a cool, sleek brewery based in East Williamsburg. You’ll find a wide range of beers here including farmhouse ales, unusual Sours, and classic brews, plus your hip canned IPAs and ales. It really does have something for everyone!
You’ve got to try their Key Lime Pie Pop! Yes, you’ve guessed it, this sour beer has a tang of tart lime running through it, balanced perfectly with a sweet taste of vanilla and milk sugar. How could you resist?!

We love this brewery for the hoppy ales that are always changing and the 5% loyalty system they have in place – who doesn’t like money off their beer?! This fantastic drinking spot has a large patio area with string lights and a proper community feel.
We love their Imperial Stout ‘Everything Was Forever Until It Was No More’, and trust us, you’ll really want this beer to last forever! This dark beer features German Magnum and UK Fuggle for its hops and has tasting notes of bittersweet chocolate, toasted malt, dark fruit, and a warming finish. Perfect for those colder nights.

(347) 688-2337Big aLICe Brewing is a lovely little brewery in Long Island City – they love showcasing the best local produce that The Bronx has to offer. Working with local farmers and small businesses they bring something unique to the brewery industry in The Bronx, in the form of stunning pilsners and sultry brews.
Their Blasket Red is highly recommended amongst their regulars, a beautiful red Irish ale coming in at 7.2%. This easy-drinking malty ale is a great beer for any time, but Big aLICE Brewing themselves recommend it as a perfect beer for St. Patrick’s Day.

(718) 585-3192You can’t visit The Bronx without checking out Port Morris Distillery. If you’re new to the area they’ll welcome you with open arms, and if you’re a regular – well you’ll be part of the furniture already! Founded in 2010, Port Morris Distillery creates bold and tasteful craft distilled spirits and beers along with some food to snack on too.
We love their classic IPA, a beautiful glass of 4.2% golden goodness. If you’re brave you could also try some of their Puerto Rican moonshines – but we were too timid for that!

(718) 450-3991Next up on our list is Bricks and Hops, a small local brewery with a fantastic garden and a great range of rotating beers. They offer over 30 different craft beers on draft as well as a selection of funky cans.
We love their 8.6% Pumking – this yam beer is an autumnal copper, with beautiful notes of cinnamon and pumpkin pie spices. There’s even some nutmeg and vanilla in there to really make you feel like fall is fast approaching.

(212) 564-6065Other Half Brewing is a highly respected brewery in The Bronx, with over 1,200 positive reviews on Google. The three founders of the brewery sought to create incredible beers that they themselves would enjoy They have a wide range of beers on tap and are also available to buy in cans with quirky artwork.
We love their Dank Squares: Citra Lot 2. This 7.5% IPA is made using Citra hops and has beautiful tastes of lychee, tangerine, and sweet fruits – perfect if you’re into your fruity, hoppy brews.
Interboro Spirits & Ales942 Grand St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA
(877) 843-6545We couldn’t create a guide about the best breweries in The Bronx without mentioning Interboro Spirits & Ales. This excellent East Williamsburg brewery has a huge range of beers from pilsners to IPAs and canned beers too. Interboro was founded based on bringing people together to drink great beer, and since opening in September 2016 they’ve been doing just that.
Their KCBC L’inferno is an Italian-style pilsner that really shouldn’t be missed. This is a very pale beer with a light hop haze and creamy head, brewed using a combination of eraclea barley from the Adriatic coast and more traditional German pilsner malt.
Single Cut Beersmiths19-33 37th St, Queens, NY 11105, USA
(718) 606-0788Last but certainly not least is SingleCut Beersmiths. The first microbrewery in Queens, Single Cut Beersmiths have an extensive draft list, alongside a good selection of house canned beers too.
We would personally recommend their Kim Hibiscus Sour Lager – a refreshing herbal ale with a candy pink hue. The wheat malt infused in this delicious brew provides a sweet, dry finish, and this 4.2% beer even has some notes of blackcurrant to give a deep fruity flavor and a pleasant aroma. This beer was the original in Single Cut’s “Kim” lineup of brews.
