January 9, 2018 The 2018 edition of Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party, presented in conjunction with the Irish Society of The National Capital Region, will take place on March 10 in Ottawa
Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party will make its return to the Aberdeen Pavilion in Ottawa, located at Lansdowne Park, onSaturday, March 10, 2018. The event will begin at noon, immediately following the St. Patrick’s Parade, and will run until 10:00 pm that evening, kicking off the week-long Ottawa Irish Festival. The party is hosted by local craft brewery Beau’s in partnership with the Irish Society of the National Capital Region. It will showcase Canadian and Irish-themed musical entertainment, local craft beer, and local Irish-inspired cuisine sure to induce plenty of cheer.
Partygoers can expect a full day’s worth of musical entertainment, including headliners The Real McKenzies, a legendary Celtic punk group hailing from British Columbia. Also set to perform are the French-Canadian folk punk sextet Carotté, Montréal reggae band Danny Rebel & The KGB, and The Hallions, a local and high energy Celtic rock group known for blending the fiddle with their rugged vocals. Additionally, returning favourites Mountain Tay, featuring Ottawa Valley Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Howard Hayes, will be on hand to deliver a slew of traditional Irish songs throughout the day alongside other local entertainers.
Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party 2018 also will be sure to satisfy craft beer enthusiasts. The event will be pouring more than a dozen different Beau’s beers, including Strong Patrick, an Irish-style red ale, aged in authentic Jameson® Irish Whiskey casks for 2018. A quenching selection of craft beer from Ontario guest breweries will also be available, including gluten-free beer from Glutenberg and hard cider from Flying Canoe. All can be paired with Irish-inspired cuisine from a variety of local vendors that will be on site.
Beau’s St. Patrick’s Party 2018 will take place on Saturday, March 10, at Aberdeen Pavilion, in Ottawa at Lansdowne Park, from 12 pm to 10 pm. Tickets can be purchased atwww.stpatricksparty.ca. Tickets are $29 for adults aged 19 and older, and includes one beverage token per ticket. Minors aged 18 and younger may enter for $5, but must be accompanied by an adult. Ticketholders of all ages may ride OC Transpo for free from 9:00 am on March 10 to 1:00 am on March 11 by presenting their St. Patrick’s Party ticket to the bus driver.
