Framboise Girardin is a Belgian beer, it has an alcohol content of 5%.
The raspberry-flavoured framboise is ruddy-brown with a pinkish head reminiscent of spiced chai syrup. The raspberrry aroma has a note of cherry cough mixture and hops, and a dry foamy palate has lots of natural raspberry fruit over a tart tannic backdrop. Tannic tartness returns in the finish after a sweet raspberry swallow, and the finish is long and bitterish. It’s not overly complex and lacks the pungency of some lambics, but it’s wonderfully fruity and dry.Share:
