Troubadour Magma “Hop Twist” Brewery The Musketeers has the tradition of bringing a one-off brew to the market every year, whereby one aspect of the recipe of their most popular beer, Troubadour Magma, is changed. In this way they invariably launch a particularly new beer with a strong flavor base.

While in the previous Special Editions the recipe was modified by To add a variation on the hops types and unique yeast combinations, the brewers have dealt with differently this year. For the Special Edition 2017 the brewery played with the quantities of the ingredients. The change in the amount of malt and hops caused a special twist for Troubadour Magma: the brew is lighter and more bitter, resulting in a beautiful IPA.

The taste experience The Troubadour Magma Hop Twist can best be described as a true IPA, with an alcohol percentage of 7%. The famous fruity aroma of citrus, exotic fruit, mango and hops where Troubadour Magma is known for, remains everywhere. A slightly fruity and spicy taste that is nicely complemented with a hint of caramel. The bitter character of this beer quickly becomes apparent and the dry, hop-bitter end leaves you with a long drink at every sip. In short: a true taste explosion!
