About North Brooklyn Mutual Aid

North Brooklyn Mutual Aid (NBKMA) is a grassroots, volunteer-led network of North Brooklyn residents that came together in response to the unfolding COVID-19 pandemic. Together they help coordinate the daily delivery of masks to hospitals, hot meals to senior centers, grocery delivery to neighbors in need, and so much more. Their impact includes:

  • 832 active volunteers (and counting!)
  • 600 hot meals per day delivered alongside local community partners, including the World Central Kitchen, North Brooklyn Angels, and more.
  • Over 10,000 masks delivered in partnership with Face Mask Aid
  • Over 6,400 pounds of composting (that’s a lot of scraps!)
  • Over 600 local businesses listed on the Essentially Open North Brooklyn map

We’re inspired to see this direct action enriching and protecting our neighborhood, so we’re pitching in. We’ve partnered up with NBKMA to raise funds by donating 100% of the proceeds from our newest limited release, Butterfly Photobomb, a hazy Sabro-hopped IPA. Four packs of 16oz cans drop Thursday, August 6 at our Tasting Room to-go store and at a handful of retailers in our area. Pick up yours before these cans fly away, and join us in proudly supporting NBKMA.
