Pride Month is a time to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and recognize the fight for equality around the world. Pride doesn’t stop with June— it is a year-round commitment to the joy and the work of the LGBTQ+ rights movement.
We are proud partners with The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative (SIGBI). SIGBI is a non-profit charitable organization committed to eliminating the social intolerance impacting LGBTQ+ people everywhere. Inspired by the movement born from the Stonewall Inn Uprising of 1969, they support grassroots organizations through awareness campaigns, educational programming, fundraising and candid public dialogue. Their work is especially crucial in communities where progress towards equality is slow and ongoing discrimination can no longer be tolerated.
In 2017, the founders of SIGBI reached out to us to collaborate on a beer for the launch of their organization. We’ve been proud sponsors and supporters ever since, directly contributing to their work and supporting them with The Stonewall Inn IPA. Today our spirited session IPA is available 365 days a year in countries around the world. We are dedicated to spreading SIGBI’s mission and The Stonewall Inn IPA even further.
This Pride Month, we invite you to join us in supporting the SIGBI Safe Spaces GoFundMe to establish a certification for LGBTQ+ friendly venues across the country.
