COMING SOON: LIMITED RELEASE BARN BURNER BEERS

We’re dropping a different specialty beer EVERY THURSDAY in November. Don’t miss your chance to try these RARE brews outta the OG brew barn in Lyons, CO. Available in Boulder, Longmont, and Brevard taprooms only.

NOVEMBER 1: Firm Feelin’ Hoppy Lager (5.8% ABV) ya don’t want to feel wishy-washy about the beer you’re drinking – you want that firm feeling – a deep, gratifying sense of confidence in your choice of liquid. This Oskar Blues take on a hoppy lager will hit you right in those fearless feels with Pilsner malts, Vienna malts and a splash of Rye; juxtaposed with crisp, potent citrusy hops and Augustiner lager yeast. This is a limited release so don’t wait – the early bird gets the firm.

NOVEMBER 8: Interstate SMaSH Express Enigma (6.9% ABV) is a double dry-hopped, heavily Enigma-infused SMaSH (stands for “single malt and single hop”) named after our CO house band and pretty cool dudes, Interstate Stash Express. This SMaSH lineup features Root Shoot Pale malt on bass guitar. Meanwhile, Enigma hops rip on lead guitar with flashy notes of raspberry pinot gris and mandarin orange. Set to the rhythm of a first wort hop addition, then a second whirlpool addition PLUS two dry-hoppin’s during fermentation; this SMaSH puts on an epic flavor show.

NOVEMBER 15: Bwahahaha Callista (7.5% ABV) We continually fiddle around with this single hop IPA using a rotating hop selection because it’s one of our favorites. This month’s Bwahahaha features Callista hops. Callista is a newer hop varietal from Germany that boasts honeysuckle, peach, orange and citrus flavors with a spicy undertone.

NOVEMBER 21: Interstate SMaSH Express HPA016 (6.9% ABV) is a double dry-hopped SMaSH (stands for “single malt and single hop”) named after our CO house band and pretty cool dudes, Interstate Stash Express. For the first time, we’re using HPA016 as the featured hop in Interstate SMaSH Express – a special experimental hop from Australia that imparts tart and juicy raspberry and lemon flavors. As always, ISE boasts Root Shoot Pale malt on bass guitar; set to the rhythm of a first wort hop addition, then a second whirlpool addition PLUS two dry-hoppin’s during fermentation. This SMaSH puts on an epic flavor show.

NOVEMBER 29: Check Yo’Self Golden Double IPA (8.1% ABV) HBC 682 sounds like a vacuum model, or a robotic Star Wars character, but it’s actually an herbal, spicy experimental hop varietal used alongside Simcoe, Mosaic, Amarillo and Pacifica in this Golden Double IPA. Paired with a malt bill of CaraMalt, wheat, dextrin and rye (for malt depth without darkening the color), the result is a big, bright juicy DIPA that’s approachable at 8.1%. This beer was originally a collaboration with brewers from Perrin Brewing, Periodic Brewing and Headlands Brewing Co; and we liked it so much we brought it back around.
