August 23, 2018 Around Spinnakers The bounty is real out here on the West Coast. With the harvesting and growing season upon us, we have had the privilege to infuse our menu with new, local, and fresh ingredients. Summer time brings a plethora of interesting ingredients, like collard greens, baby beets, tomatoes and even fresh local seafood. We are proud to have launched new menu items and a brand new fresh sheet at Spinnakers.
With some favourites upgraded like our Classic Beef Burger, now complete with cheddar, bacon, and house made pickles to our Fully loaded nachos, these new upgrades are tantalizingly delicious, sure to satiate your hunger.
Our new fresh sheet features, lunch menu items and farm to table dinner only items. Try our new Roasted Baby Beets for lunch or dinner. This mouthwatering dish includes candied hazelnuts, goat cheese, baby swiss chard, drizzled with a black currant vinaigrette and served slightly warmed. Looking for some fresh seafood, don’t miss out on our Mussels with Cherry Tomatoes & Bacon. These mussels are bathed in a house cider, with a caramelized fennel broth, topped with herbed sourdough crumbs, tomatoes and house made bacon.
