On May 11 we are hosting a beer release party at our San Leandro Tap Room where locals can get FIRST DIBS on six-packs and pint pours of this limited-release beer before it becomes available nationwide. The party starts at 6pm and will include live music, a Lady Liberty roller derby dance-off and a $21 special that gets you a fancy 21A glass for keeps, a pint pour of Watermelon Funk and a six-pack of this groovy beer to-go!
Watermelon Funk is our tribute to summer. We kettle sour our Hell or High Watermelon with lactobacillus for bright, tart, citrus notes. The beer finishes with a spicy farmhouse aroma of its French Saison yeast strain. Be sure to get some while you CAN!
