Ename Dubbel is a Belgian beer, it has an alcohol content of 6.5%.
Full flavour in the mouth, balanced, spicy and fruity. This sums up this dark abbey beer, which is re-fermented in the bottle. You get aromas of caramel and sweet fruit, taste caramel, toasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, alcohol and bitter hops right down to the dry finish. Everything is beautifully balanced.
Nose/aromas: Sultry aroma of sweet malt and caramel followed by dark fruit and a pleasant hint of dark chocolate.
Flavour: Full-bodied and creamy, dark malt, impression of dark chocolate and sweet fruit (figs, raisins, etc.), slight hint of yeast; surprisingly dry finish.Share:
