Prairie: an extensive, mostly treeless, level or slightly undulating tract of land, characterized by highly fertile soil.Baard: org; old Dutch; beard, whiskers, facial hair This American blonde ale is made with 100% malted grains from the Canadian prairies, finished with plenty of aromatic Northwest hops to create a wonderfully crisp and refreshing beer.From Mike’s Craft BeerFrom Bomber Brewing in East Vancouver in Partnership with Graham DeLaet a PGA TOUR golfer comes the “Prairie Baard Golden Ale” a beer being made for the Blue Collar Prairie Drinkers of Alberta and Saskatchewan (To begin with).  The beer pours a golden straw colour with a white head.  The aroma consists of grain, wheat, biscuit, citrus and floral hops.  The flavour is of bread, grain, wheat, biscuit, citrus, grassy hops and some mild bitterness.  The alcohol content comes in at 5%.  This is a very sessionable beer and would be a great choice for a nice hot summer day.
